Project Background
The Ghana National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP) plays a crucial role in addressing plastic waste and pollution nationwide. By fostering collaboration among stakeholders, the NPAP aims to advance a circular economy in Ghana through innovative initiatives and impactful interventions.
As part of its efforts, the NPAP seeks to produce high-quality video content that captures the evolution of the NPAP, emphasizes stakeholder perspectives on the platform’s importance, and highlights key projects led by NPAP members. These videos will be pivotal in showcasing the platform’s achievements and inspiring continued engagement among stakeholders.
Job overview
The primary objective of this assignment is to produce a series of videos that reflect the essence and impact of Ghana National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP). The videos will include:
1. A 12-15-minute documentary detailing the evolution and history of the Ghana NPAP.
2. Stakeholder interviews highlighting the value of the NPAP platform and its contributions to Ghana’s plastic action goals.
3. Highlight reels showcasing selected projects by NPAP members, illustrating tangible outcomes and best practices.

The service provider must demonstrate:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in producing development-related video content.
- Proven expertise in storytelling, documentary production, and filming high-quality visuals.
- Access to professional equipment, including high-definition cameras and drones.
- A qualified team with skills in videography, editing, audio mixing, and post-production.

Key responsibilities
- Developing an overall concept and scenario for the videos in consultation with the NPAP Secretariat.
- Creating detailed scripts and storyboards for the documentary and project highlight reels.
- Conducting interviews with stakeholders and beneficiaries to gather compelling narratives.
- Filming stakeholder interactions, NPAP-related activities, and selected member projects across the region.
- Editing and producing the final videos, including subtitles and graphics where necessary.
- Presenting draft versions of the documentary and highlight reels to the Secretariat for feedback and revisions.
Outputs / Deliverables
The service provider will deliver the following:
- An approved script and storyboard for the documentary and highlight reels.
- A 12-15-minute documentary on the evolution and history of Ghana NPAP.
- Stakeholder interviews incorporated into the documentary, emphasizing the importance of the NPAP platform.
- Three 90-120 second project highlight videos featuring selected NPAP member projects.
- A 2–3-minute highlight reel summarizing the documentary and key projects.
- Raw footage of all interviews, projects, and events filmed during the assignment.

Contractual Summary
Evaluation Process
Proposals will be assessed based on the following criteria:
- Technical Evaluation (70%): This includes methodology, work samples, and qualifications.
- Financial Evaluation (30%): This includes a detailed breakdown of costs, inclusive of applicable taxes.
The final selection will aggregate the technical and financial scores. Ghana NPAP reserves the right to reject any proposal without obligation.
